How just vibe was vibed

We built just vibe the same way we plan to teach you to vibe code. It's not running on some all-in-one platform, and the only recurring cost to keep it alive is the ~$10/year domain. I could cancel every subscription I have today and just vibe would still be right here.

How it actually came together

I started with the concept: a learning platform to teach people how to vibe code without relying on platforms — and without their apps getting held hostage. I made a logo and favicon in about five minutes in Canva, using colors I liked, then plugged everything into Claude Design and iterated until the look and feel felt right.

From there I took that design system, handed it to Claude inside VS Code, and told it the exact tools I wanted to build with.

One late night later, I had ~90% of the platform built:

• SvelteKit, hosted on Vercel
• a Postgres database on Neon
• Better Auth wired up
• Resend for transactional email
• the domain registered on Cloudflare
• a Mux account ready for video down the line

Student dashboards, an admin dashboard, and just about everything I'd need to actually teach people to own what they vibe code — done.

Why build it this way?

If I were building this for a client, I probably wouldn't have. I'd have reached for an open-source or paid CMS and LMS. But this is supposed to be a place where you learn to vibe code — so I figured, just vibe code everything.

Now all that's left is to write the curriculum, flesh out the courses, record the videos, and find out if anyone actually wants to learn what I'm teaching. And even if this turns out to be me shouting into the void, it literally only cost me a domain registration and some time. (I'd be paying for my AI subscription either way — Claude is the best.)

I'm putting all of this out there for free. I'm not a guru with a system to sell you. I'm just someone who's spent a whole career in tech and wants to show people how genuinely easy this has gotten. I'm tired of watching people get ripped off by mega-corps who'd love to hold their ideas hostage for a monthly fee.
